Limits of a Known Territory

Limits of a Known Territory is a room-scale art installation by Troika. The floor is flooded, and droplets of water appear to be suspended in the air. The installation had been tuned for a single site, but the drops were breaking up when installed in taller sites. I reduced the break-up of the drops by installing longer nozzles, and reducing/damping vibrations along the water lines.
No Sound of Water

No Sound of Water is a bit of a counterpoint to Limits. The "waterfall" of salt, backlit by LEDs, outputs 30,000kg of salt per hour. Finding the right technology was quite a challenge. In addition to the high flow-rate, salt will abrade and corrode most powder-processing equipment.
